Mokume, an ancient art we are beginning to range

These rings are Monika’s first pieces of a new Mokume range, which we released just prior to Christmas

Mokume is a rare technique of beating combined metals to create a watery pattern. Seen in this ornate Japanese knife

These can then be laminated to other rings, in this case an inner sleeve of 9ct yellow or rose gold.

The rings cannot be resized, but they are very beautiful. The range of metals we use for the outer sleeve will vary, with new ones being introduced early this year
