There is beauty in H1N1

This is the swine flu virus. We got it so badly in 2009 that all my hair fell out (so I cut it short). It was quite profoundly life-changing to be so ill with flu. Who’d have thought that something so horrific could be so beautiful…this image is H1N1 under a microscope. I can see a range, like the bubble ring range, set with pavé of tiny rubies, with some black rhodium plating on the outer edges…
